Also known as an AUSTRALIA marriage visa, a spouse visa allows married partners of AUSTRALIA citizens to immigrate to Australia because they are married to someone who is ‘settled in the AUSTRALIA’ – i.e. a person who is ordinarily resident in Australia and has no immigration restrictions on how long they can stay in the AUSTRALIA.

A multiple entry visa allows visitors to come and go from Australia for six months at a time, without having to reapply each time. It can be valid for up to 10 years, or one month before your passport expires, whichever is earlier. You must arrive in Australia on or before the expiry date on your visa.
